8 Stock Photo Sites You’ll Actually Want to Use
Stock photography has come a long way since the early internet. In fact, early stock photos have been reduced to clichés that are more or less the laughing stock (ha!) of the internet.
Depositories of stock photos from the first decade of the 2000s (such as Getty Image, Shutterstock and iStockPhoto) gave birth to stock photo clichés like business people doing yoga, doctors with crossed arms, old people using computers and a personal favorite of mine, woman laughing alone eating salad.
Awkward Stock Photos‘ sarcastic slogan reads “Completely explainable stock photos everybody should always use,” but I’ve compiled a list of eight modern stock photo sites that you’ll actually want to use.
Consider these 8 free, high-res and artistic stock photo sites my gift to you to stuff your stocking with (or ya know, just pocket them).[insert photo of me laughing alone in an ugly sweater drinking eggnog here]
